ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Workshop

 

Workshop Outline:

This two-day workshop will provide participants with an understanding of the internal audit process and its application to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Special emphasis will be placed on audit planning, execution, and follow-up to ensure participants gain a solid understanding of how to perform effective audits. Communication and interpersonal skills are also emphasized and integrated into the workshop where possible.

Workshop Goals:

  • Review of ISO 9001 QMS – Requirements/ ISO 19011 Guidelines for Quality Environmental Management Systems Auditing
  • Review the ISO 9000 series of documents
  • Review the quality management principles
  • Learn the concepts and definitions related to quality system audits
  • Understand the objectives and responsibilities related to the audit process
  • Understand the process approach to auditing quality management systems
  • Discuss document review skills
  • Understand the audit process: initiation, preparation, conduct, reporting, and follow-up activities
  • Brief overview of auditing Integrated Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001)

Recommended Training and/or Experience:

ISO 9001 Overview Workshop or working knowledge of the standard would be beneficial.

Dates:             December 5-6 / January 30-31 / February 27-28

Location:       15 Glencoe Dr., Mount Pearl

Time:               9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Fee:                $850.00 plus HST, meals and materials will be provided.

Registration and Cancellation Policy:  Workshop fees must be paid at the time of registration to ensure a seat.  Cancellation requests receive more than 7 calendar days before the start date of the workshop will receive a full refund of the workshop fee minus a $100 administration fee.  Cancellation requests received within the 7 calendar days before the start date of the workshop are non-refundable.  Quality Matters Inc. reserves the right to cancel any workshop.
